Press releases
A press release highlights our customers and their use of NEC products. Press releases can announce the winning of a contract, the completion of an implementation or a unique approach to solving a customer’s issue. To develop a media release, one of our corporate communications consultants will conduct a brief telephone interview with the customer. Interview questions are provided in advance, so customers know what to expect. The customer has the opportunity to review and approve the final press release prior to media distribution and website publication. Press releases may result in published articles.
Case studies
NEC customer case studies are written stories that highlight our customers and their success with the use of NEC products. To develop the case study, customers participate in an interview with one of NEC’s Corporate Communications Consultants, then review and approve the final case study prior to its publication. Case studies are generally pitched to the media to gain positive media coverage. Studies are published on NEC Australia’s website and are used as sales collateral.
Video testimonials
Through NEC videos, customers have an opportunity to speak on camera about the successful implementation of NEC solutions and the importance to their business. NEC Australia can film at the customer’s location, or at another mutually convenient place. As with other NEC reference materials, customers have an opportunity to review and approve the video footage before it is used. Typically, these videos are shown at customer events and posted on the NEC Australia website.
Speaking engagements at NEC-sponsored events
Customers can gain high-profile access to industry and media audiences by taking advantage of speaking opportunities at conferences where NEC is a featured participant, or the event sponsor. NEC provides the customer support to create a compelling presentation and will coordinate presentation logistics.
Customer reference in NEC executive speeches and presentations
One of NEC’s corporate communications consultants will produce an NEC presentation slide that describes the investment customers have made in deploying NEC products, the reasons why, and the benefits realised. The slide includes the customer’s company logo and a quote that summarises the company's experience with NEC.
Customer calls or visits
Taking a call or hosting a visit from a potential NEC client enables customers to network with other NEC customers. Activities range from speaking with another customer by telephone to inviting them to a company location to see NEC in action.
NEC proposals
Customers can be included in NEC proposals. These proposals explain to potential NEC customers how NEC products and solutions can be used successfully used in their environments.
Talk to a consultant or analyst
Analysts are eager to speak with companies to gain an understanding of customer technology needs and to obtain real-life examples for their articles. At the same time, analyst interviews provide sales account managers with opportunities to gain free advice from industry experts.
Talk to the press
Journalists contact NEC for comment on topics that span from a strategic view of technology's impact on businesses to a company's experience in using NEC products. When a customer agrees to participate in a press interview, they can decide which topics to discuss, and are not required to comment on sensitive information about their company.
Award opportunities
Partners and/or customers can be nominated for relevant award opportunities. The nomination process may involve an interview to complete an award submission form.
