Our MA4000 Management System is a web-based PBX maintenance tool designed to increase productivity while at the same time delivering flexibility and simplicity to telephony administration.

In combination with the UNIVERGE SV7000, SV8300, SV8500 and IPS and IPX communication solutions, the MA4000 provides the necessary tools for a truly comprehensive IP and traditional telephony solution.

MA4000 simplifies server administration - you no longer need to be a highly trained voice technician to get the most of your voice network.  MA4000 brings voice maintenance to the lay-person, with intuitive screens, smart operations and extensive online help – all accessed from your web browser.

MA4000 integrates with your IT systems via its LDAP auto-provisioning system, and its fully-configurable authentication scheme enables single sign on. MA4000 greatly reduces the amount of time and effort necessary to complete moves, adds and changes within an enterprise network.

The MA4000 has some requirements on your network and the PBXs that it can manage.

 

Servers

The MA4000 can be deployed on a Windows Server or Windows XP computer (depending on scalability) within your network. The MA4000 after configuration will be capable of maintaining any UNIVERGE PBXs within your network.

LDAP

The MA4000 is capable of synchronising with your existing LDAP data sources. For this to be possible, your LDAP data source must be LDAP V3 complaint. Some examples include:

  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Novel eDirectory
  • Lotus Domino
  • RedHat directory services.

PBX

Any compatible NEC UNIVERGE PBX can be managed by the MA4000. Features and functions available may vary slightly between models.
