Alan Hyde

Managing Director
NEC Australia and New Zealand

Alan Hyde is the Managing Director of NEC Australia and New Zealand, responsible for transforming the company into one of the country’s leading ICT businesses.

Over the past 20 years, Alan has held senior positions in technical, sales, sales management and executive management roles in the ICT industry in Australia and the UK, working for leading enterprises including IBM, SSA, PeopleSoft and SAP.

Tetsuro Akagi

Corporate Planning Officer

Tetsuro Akagi leads NEC Australia’s Corporate Planning function responsible for facilitating liaison between NEC Australia and NEC Asia Pacific and NEC Corporation. He is also responsible for Legal and Risk & Compliance, IT services, consolidating forecasting data from the business operational groups; and is the Company Secretary.

Tetsuro was previously chief manager in NEC’s International Operations Planning Division.

Naoto Hotta

Chief Finance Officer

Naoto Hotta leads NEC Australia’s Finance and Controller function as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for ensuring compliance with company financial policies, corporate financial consolidation, taxation management, JSOX compliance, financial governance, credit control and the treasury activity.

Naoto has had a 20+ year career with NEC and broad experience in both legal and management accounting. Naoto’s previous roles include Senior Manager within the Global Business Process Competence Center, MIS Division; Senior Manager, Accounting & Tax Planning Office, Corporate Controller Division; and General Manager of the NEC America Finance Group.

Lynette Elliott

Director of Marketing & Business Strategy

Lynette Elliott leads the marketing, business transformation and strategy and change management programs at NEC Australia.

Lynette has over 20 years IT industry leadership experience in senior executive business strategy, product & marketing roles at companies including vividwireless, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Telstra, Lucent Technologies and EDS.

Peter Hoy

Director of Human Resources

Peter Hoy is the Director of Human Resources for NEC Australia, responsible for human resources strategy, organisational development and corporate facilities management.

Peter has over 30 years’ experience in management roles, including human resources, facilities management, quality management, and procurement in both the private and public sector. Prior to joining NEC Australia, Peter worked for the Victorian Accident Compensation Commission (the Statutory Authority responsible for the Victorian WorkCover Scheme) and Federal Government Departments of Immigration & Ethnic Affairs and Productivity/Defence Support.

Ross Magee

Solutions Director

Ross Magee leads NEC Australia’s Solutions Division which comprises of four distinct areas: Enterprises & Government Sales; UC Solutions; Specialist Solutions; and Shared Service Infrastructure.

Ross has over 25 years of international experience leading and growing businesses in IT consulting and services, holding a number of senior executive positions with Ajilon Australia, IBM, American Management Systems, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KAZ Group.

Christopher Kavanagh

Operations Director

Christopher Kavanagh is Director of Operations at NEC Australia responsible for Business Planning and National Chain functions.

Christopher joined NEC Australia in 2011. He has a 20-year background in accounting, finance and general management. He started his working life after gaining his CPA in a public practice for five years. Since then he has worked in senior financial controller roles with Ductline, UeComm, Corporate Express, Blue Circle Transportation and Ajilon Australia.
