NEC Announces Its First SCOPE AdvancedTCA MSAN Products

AM3110 and AM3160 built to open standards Broadband World Forum Europe, Berlin -- STAND 5028 NEC today announced its first products consistent with the SCOPE AdvancedTCA profiles– the AM3110 and AM3160, the latest in NEC’s MSAN (Multi-Service Access Node) broadband series.

AM31 Multi-Service Access Platform
The NEC AM31 is a rack mounted, large format Multi-Service Access Platform designed for use in telephone exchanges. It features front access for installation and maintenance, and provides 576 DSL lines per subrack, expanding to 2880 lines or more via electrical or optical aggregation
