This is done via a combination of technology, provided on NEC’s range of DT700 Series terminals (with displays) and Smart Phones.

Features:

  • Incoming Call Popup and Redirect - Displays a popup window on the terminal when a call is received. If the contact details are within the Phone directory, then it will display all the details of the caller including picture (only on the DT750)
  • Easy Call Setting - Users can set or reset the Call Forward All, Call Forward Busy, Call Forward No Answer and Call Forward Busy No Answer
  • Instant Message - Users can send and receive instant messages between the DT750, DT730, DT710 and Smart Phones
  • User Directory with Presence - Users set their availability status in the database and are able to view the Presence status of other contacts
  • Company Directory (Active Directory) - Users can view contact details from the Favourites list, Database contacts and Active Directory. On Database and Active Directory the user can execute a search based on a first name and last name
  • Weather - View weather information for selected Australian cities
  • Bulletin Boards - Allows the user to read billboard messages. In List mode, all messages for that particular extension will be listed in order of broadcast. In Slide Show, all messages will be displayed one-by-one in slide show format with five second intervals
  • World Clock - Users can view current time of selected cities around the globe
  • Photo Album - Allows the user to view the slide show of available images
  • Easy-to-use interface - An attractive and practical interface with a virtual keyboard. Incoming Call and Instant Messaging pop-up on desktop interface.

  • internet connection with static public IP address or DNS name to host the DTPlusWare application web server.

An added benefit of the DTPlusWare application is that it can be easily configured and maintained through a web interface. The web interface allows users the flexibility to configure the various functions. They can add, view, delete and change settings such as:
   
  • user profile
  • photo album
  • world clock
  • preferred 'Redirect Telephone Number'
  • predefined Instant Message Text and Weather Cities.
  • the web interface also allows users to set/view their Call Forward settings, search for Contact, view Contact Details including call history of desktop phone.
