Supply Nation
NEC Australia is a proud member of Supply Nation, a non-profit organisation that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses by connecting them with procurement teams across Australia.
Indigenous Employment Programs
We have been running our Indigenous Traineeship program in the Northern Territory since 2011. In 2014 we expanded with our Indigenous Work Placement Program. Both programs are designed to build professional skills that trainees can use throughout their careers.
Reconciliation Action Plan
At NEC Australia, our vision is to orchestrate a brighter world. A world where everyone is treated with equity, and is valued, respected, and included.
The NEC Innovate- Reconciliation Action Plan (I- RAP) has been officially endorsed and accredited by Reconciliation Australia.
It provides NEC Australia with a structured approach to continue to advance reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which NEC operates.
The I- RAP solidifies our commitment to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures so that we can contribute to greater empowerment of their peoples and communities through new opportunities and meaningful partnerships.
