Platform Support as a Service (PSaaS) is a dedicated managed service capability specifically designed to bridge the support gap between cloud providers and application hosting, while adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) requirements. Delivered from our securely connected facilities, PSaaS works with your existing governance framework to support application platforms as an extension of your IT management capability, whether it be a public secure cloud or private solution.
Secure Managed Services Connectivity
Defence managed services are delivered from NECA’s secure and accredited facilities. Our facilities are built to a secure zone 3/4 standard and are able to isolate Defence networks and IT systems. This ensures that physical security and personnel security associated with access and control of our facilities adheres to the security classification of the respective Defence environment under support. NECA clear all staff through its membership in the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP), with all NECA personnel situated across our secure facilities who access Defence systems cleared up to NV2.
Identity and Access Management
NECA is working with Defence Industry Primes and SME’s in the delivery of Innovative and cutting edge solutions in the use of Biometrics Facial Recognition systems which have applications for soldier, in the field and within fixed facilities both on and off shore to Australia. Using NEC NeoFace technologies which is world leading in accuracy, performance and rated the best facial recognition system by NIST. NECA’s innovative approach to the use of this technology will provide Defence a Force Multiplier in the future battle space.
Warehousing and Logistics
NECA's secure warehousing & logistics services is a Defence nationwide capability. Our warehouse facility located in Fyshwick ACT is built to a secure zone 3/4 standard with planned connectivity into the Defence Network. Our secure warehousing & logistics services include product handling & storage, labelling, inventory management and preparation for dispatch using our freight management & distribution centre anywhere in the country. When combined with our field services, all aspects from initial receipt of goods to safe handling and implementation are covered by NECA.
Field Services
NECA field services is a Defence nationwide capability that delivers security cleared personnel located on base and remote site locations. Our field services provide a blend of call-out field technical and project support which includes desktop, network, unified communications, endpoint rollout, deployments & floor walking, hardware installation, physical decommissioning, hardware sanitisation & disposal readiness service coordination. Due to NECA’s long-standing history of providing field services across Defence sites, all of our personnel have gained a deep understanding of each Defence site which truly streamlines the process of our logistics and site access.
Critical Infrastructure Solutions
NECA provides critical infrastructure solutions to Defence through our SME partner, Radlink. This hardware platform provides backhaul Microwave transmission technologies to 20+ defence sites. iPASOLINK VR is a new-concept microwave and optical transporter that transcends the realms of traditional microwave equipment. iPASOLINK VR leads the microwave radio industry with rich features and outstanding capabilities and is ready for the 5G era.
