NEC Announces General Availability of the All-New UNIVERGE BLUE® CONNECT and ENGAGE in Australia

NEC Australia is announcing the general availability of NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT, a fully integrated Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE, a Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solution for businesses of all sizes, in Australia.

NEC Announces General Availability of the All-New UNIVERGE BLUE® CONNECT and ENGAGE in Australia

Release of cloud-based unified communications and contact centre solutions represents the next step in the global expansion of NEC’s new UNIVERGE BLUE Cloud Services portfolio.

NEC Australia is announcing the general availability of NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT, a fully integrated Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE, a Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) solution for businesses of all sizes, in Australia. NEC partnered with Intermedia – a US-based ‘born in the cloud’ and award-winning communications software provider to deliver this solution to the Australian market. The local launch represents a significant milestone in the global roll-out of this innovative offering.

NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE are designed for businesses of all sizes, from enterprise to SMB. Early partner and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating a widespread need among Australian businesses for flexible and adaptable solutions that can support the shift to a distributed workforce.

UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and ENGAGE are now generally available for NEC Australia’s Unified Communications Channel Partner Community and customers. This announcement is a key part of a rollout that will ultimately include NEC partners around the globe in 2021.

Included with UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT is UNIVERGE BLUE MEET, a powerful integrated video conferencing tool. With fully integrated conferencing, collaboration, screen sharing, and video conferencing capabilities available from desktop or mobile devices, UNIVERGE BLUE MEET provides reliable, stress-free meetings from anywhere, at any time.

Customers that sign up for UNIVERGE BLUE before March 31 will be eligible for one month of free services.

NEC’s leading portfolio of on-premises solutions is now augmented with the addition of the new UNIVERGE BLUE portfolio of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions offering compelling cloud PBX, team collaboration, file sharing and backup, and online meeting - all integrated with top SaaS applications - that a cloud-based platform provides. NEC’s portfolio now addresses business needs across both premises-based and cloud deployment environments and enables organisations to migrate at a pace appropriate to their business needs.
