NEC Australia expands cloud, data and AI capability with the acquisition of Exco Partners

Melbourne, Australia, 2 April 2026, 12PM AEDT: NEC Australia expands cloud, data and AI capability with the acquisition of Exco Partners based in Melbourne.

The acquisition brings together Exco Partners’ proven technology innovation, customer centricity and delivery expertise with NEC’s global technology leadership, operational reliability and scale, strengthening its ability to deliver complex digital solutions across government and regulated industries.

Exco Partners will operate as a dedicated business unit within NEC Australia, enhancing NEC’s capability across cloud, data and AI while complementing its established strengths in IT Managed Services, Unified Communications, Biometrics, Digital Government and mission-critical digital solutions.
