NEC Australia & New Zealand Appoints New CEO
9 July 2025, 12:00 pm
NEC Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) today announced that Jason Price will step down as President & Chief Executive Officer at the end of July 2025, after nearly three years in the role.
He will be succeeded by Keith Morrison, who has been appointed CEO effective 1 August 2025.
Mr Price has led NEC ANZ through a period of transformational change – strengthening operations, deepening customer focus, and positioning the business for long-term growth. His leadership has helped modernise the organisation and build strong foundations for the future.
Mr Morrison joined NEC in 2024 as Senior Vice President and has played a central role in shaping the organisation’s FY25–FY27 strategy. He brings more than 25 years of experience across telecommunications, IT services, and business transformation, having previously held senior leadership roles at Datacom and Kinetic IT.
His appointment as CEO supports NEC’s continued focus on delivering value to customers, deepening strategic partnerships, and strengthening its presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. It also ensures leadership continuity, with a smooth handover supported by both Mr Price and NEC’s regional and global stakeholders.
“It’s been a privilege to lead NEC through a defining period,” said Mr Price.
“I’m proud of the progress we’ve made – reshaping the business, strengthening our culture, and setting a clear path for the future. I am confident that Keith is the best person to guide the business through its next phase. He brings the right mix of deep experience, energy, clear vision, and a strong understanding of NEC’s strategy and values.”
Mr Morrison said:
“NEC is in a strong position to grow in the region, with a diverse portfolio of solutions, market-leading technologies, and a clear strategic direction.”
“This is an exciting time for the business. We’ve laid the groundwork for something significant, and I’m honoured to lead NEC into its next phase. I look forward to continuing to work closely with our people, customers and industry partners as we accelerate our growth, deliver greater value, and build on the foundation Jason and the team have set.”
Based in Perth, Western Australia, Mr Morrison’s elevation to CEO also reflects NEC’s commitment to investment and growth in this strategically important region.
NEC extends its sincere thanks to Mr Price for his leadership and lasting contribution to the business, and wishes him every success in his next chapter.
