NEC Australia scores top 75 spot on graduate employers list for second straight year

NEC Australia has for the second consecutive year been recognised in the annual honours of the top 75 Australian businesses employing graduates.

The rankings are compiled by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE), the peak industry body for the graduate recruitment and development market.

The aim of the Top Graduate Employers list is to recognise those organisations which provide the most positive experience for their new graduates as determined by the graduates themselves.

The survey of graduates is completed anonymously and they are asked to rate their employer on around 25 categories including:

  • Orientation or induction program
  • Training and development program
  • Quality of work
  • Career progression
  • Supervisor or manager
  • Compensation and benefits
  • Work/life balance
  • Company culture

The AAGE rankings are viewed as the definitive guide to the peak companies for graduates seeking employment opportunities in Australia.

The full list can be found on www.topgraduateemployers.com

The AAGE determines the rankings based on surveys of a graduate’s experiences with their adoptive employer after their first 12 months of placement.

The surveys are received from over 3200 graduates.

NEC Australia’s graduate class of 2019/20 occupied positions in our Managed Services line of business.

“It is a great to see NEC Australia ranked amongst Australia’s top graduate employers for a second straight year,” said NEC Australia’s Director, Managed Services Milan Djuricic.

“We place a lot of interest and energy in our young employees and graduates because we recognise they are the future of our company.

“NEC is currently celebrating 50 years in Australia and the mix of decades of experience and fresh sets of eyes on our business is why we continue to succeed and continue to evolve for our customers, be it in the private sector or in Government circles,” Milan said.
