Vice President - Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Brian Julius has been with NEC Australia since 2013 and is currently the Vice President - Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary. His role includes overseeing the Finance and Procurement and Supply Chain teams. This encompasses accountability for financial management, financial governance, establishing and tracking financial targets and partnering the business in developing strategies to achieve these goals.
Brian has over 20 years experience in Finance and has worked internationally. His career began in Chartered within a ‘big four’ accounting firm, and he later worked in the Banking, Telecommunications and Energy industries. He is passionate about developing teams and driving profitable commercial outcomes.
Brian is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He received his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accounting degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and his MBA from Edinburgh Business School.
